Hi Donal. There are quite a few. This is the mitsubishi I-Miev and I haven’t been in a 2013 model myself. The range has doubled within two years since the prototype featured in the video was made.
The Nissan leaf is an ordinary family sized car and there is a 5000 euro grant available for purchase of these vehicles.
Renault have four types, the Twizzy (in the David Guetta video I put up)
      The Fluence (family saloon)
      The Kangoo (the vanette)
The Zoe (small family car hopefully coming soon.)
You rent the batteries per month which brings down the purchase price but I will check weather can you get the grant with these cars.
Check out their websites, the Renault one is very good.
These three manufactures are being tested in the great electric drive so see what the other ambassadors have to say about the different models.
Charge points are increasing around Cork all the time and over the next few weeks I hope to make a charge point map of Cork with a picture of all the charge point and a photo of what you can do while you are waiting. Hope this will help.
