Plugged in to the public charge point in Youghal this week to shop in Supervalu. Very convenient and the card worked well. It was good to familiarise myself with it because you plug into the charge point first and then into the car which is the opposite to the home charge. It became obvious why you plug into the charge point first as the automatic cover closes to protect the charge point if you don’t plug in after half a minute. Got asked a lot of questions which is great, usually clarifying that they were actually seeing a car plugged in. I have also now proven that the I-miev can hold two adults, two children, a medium sized buggy, coats, and all my weekly shopping with no discomfort.
Good family excursions to the beach and the woods and again the car was put to the test with buckets, spades, wellies and the likes. She is a super drive and I just love zinging around.
